Crystal Battery Design

A section view of the assembled crystal battery

The crystal battery is a tool that magicians can use to safely contain potent magical crystals and to unleash their power in a controlled manner. Featuring an easily adjustable magical release valve, a robust sealing mechanism, and swappable components for increased crystal compatibility, this device is a versatile tool useful for all magicians.

Features:

  • Cylindrical holding volume with a diameter of 120 mm and a height of 140 mm
  • Threaded magical release valve for easy control of energy output
  • Socket head screws for a tight seal around the crystal
  • Swappable channeling devices for versatility and maximum crystal compatibility

I am not a trained engineer. Use these designs at your own risk. That said, I would appreciate feedback, both in terms of design functionality (e.g. whether a fluid seal in a design would actually work IRL) and manufacturability in a world without CNC machines or 3D printers.
